Sweet Home Alabama - Lynyrd Skynyrd (I like the song, but they have a whole catalog of music you can use)
Tom Sawyer - Rush
Can't Fight This Feeling - REO Speedwagon (damnit, they were a SEVENTIES rock band, in the early 80's they went to soft rock!)
Janie's Got A Gun - Aerosmith (because this was their most commercially successful single, it gets the most airplay)

Pretty much everything by the Beatles.
I totally accept that the Beatles are great. Genius.
And I never listen to them at all.

Pink Floyd is pretty played out for me also.

Holy thread-necro, Batman!

So many songs to list, so little space.

The first couple that come to mind, will have to come back to this alter when i have more time:

Free - All Right Now - WTF? This band had 6 VERY solid studio albums and we only ever get ONE song from them. If you didn't know any better and from listening to FM radio for 50+ years, you'd assume they were a 1-hit wonder. This is a good song, but they had a lot of other great tracks that are 100% ignored by the idiot program directors. To make things worse, they always place the worst version of the song as well.

AC/DC - Money Talks - Far and away the most overplayed AC/DC song of the past 30 years. Not only that, it's a very average song and no where near the best song on that album (Razors Edge for those that may not know).

Bohemian Rhapsody - It's played every day on the radio where I live. It's gotten to the point where I'm worried that I will start to hate the song if I don't turn it off when it comes on.

Yeah, I figure since everyone else was bringing back threads I should join in the fun!

Boy, Don't Fear the Reaper by Blue Oyster Cult falls into this category too. You'd think that other than Burning For You they'd never recorded any other songs.

DEEP PURPLE - Smoke on the Water

When ever people refer to DP they quote the above song. This automatically proves to me that they know very little of the band and even do not understand the band. Obviously Ritchie Blackmore is very happy of the popularity of this song, its another string to his income. But seriously DP have written numerous fine songs and Ritchie Blackmore has written numerous great riffs (he is one of the original great 'Riff' merchant). I dare a young aspiring Rock guitarist to play 'Smoke on the Water' riffs in a guitar shop:eek:

Free Bird, Stairway, and Proud Mary. Back when I was playing in the bars we played Proud Mary at least twice a night.

Bohemian Rhapsody, ok it was different when it first come out but to constantly repeat this commercial song can make a sane person go 'Gaga'!
