I just got a cd called Bloodline, by Bloodline, a few days ago. It is very good. It was made in 94 and was their only release. Joe Bonamassa was the guitarist, before he formed his own band. The group's members were Erin Davis (son of Miles Davis), Waylon Krieger (son of Robby Krieger, guitarist for The Doors), and Berry Oakley, Jr. (son of Berry Oakley), along with Joe Bonamassa. Cool album, with good music genes, except for Joe, his parents weren't famous musicians.

I miss SRV as well...but Albert King...and Howlin` Wolf...I could go on and on....just one time...listen to Albert King`s version of ..."The Very Thought of You"...if you`ve ever been in love...this song`ll make you weep....I can`t express enough how the blues just reaches into me and moves me. I`ll miss BB King when he`s done...like I`ve missed so many others. Sheesh I have some Jimi doin` blues...there are so many. I do love r & r...and rockabilly, and so many genres...but it all comes back to the blues for me...anyone here ever heard of Catfish Hodge? Me and my hon...well...sweet for us.

SRV was tremendously talented. He made playing his guitar look as natural to him as walking. What a great blues guitarist! I play his music almost daily, absolutely weekly.

Muddy Waters, Howlin Wolf, John Lee Hooker, Sonny Boy Williamson, Hound Dog Taylor, Elmore James, and Big Joe Turner are probably my favorite Blues artists. There are alot more I've listened to over the years including Tinsley Ellis, The Bluerunners (Lousiana blues/zydeco), B.B. King, Buddy Guy, Robert Cray Band, Siegal-Schwall Band, Little Walter, Little Charlie and the Nightcats, and on and on and on......so many, so little time and so little money.:D
