Now, wut is this? Looks pretty good!

Diamond Head is a band deserving a ton of more recognition... They did not ever sign to a major label at the right time, and when they did, it was the wrong fit.
They were one of the leading NWOBHM influences and are the reason bands like Metallica formed in the first place. Their main influences are bands like the Scorpions and UFO. You should go check out their debut first, Lightning to the Nations, and let me know what you think. :)

They are one of my all-time favorite bands..

STEPHEN STILLS- STEPHEN STILLS from 1970

Taking time out from CS&N & CSN&Y Stephen's first solo album also features Jimi Hendrix on the song Old Times Good Times and Eric Clapton on the song Go Back Home and as for the rest of the album it features a good selection of songs from Stephen that are all played well and sound good. This album gets occasional plays by myself more than some other albums do.

Thanks a ton for your information. I'll try to find their stuff and listen to it on Monday, and I'll tell you wut I think about it. I'm a bit busy this weekend as my sister and her husband are celebrating their golden wedding anniversary tomorrow.

Frands I wouldn't call myself a dedicated Diamond Head fan although I own the first album Lightning To The Nations which came out in 1981 I think and they got lumped in with the NWOBHM movement here in the UK anyway I believe the first album is the main album because after that I believe they moved away slightly towards progressive metal I suppose you would call it?. The thing with Diamond Head apart from Lars Ulrich of Metallica being a early fan of there's was they didn't get the lucky breaks that other bands got and I recall reading that the band for some time was managed by one of the bands mother's rather that being managed by a 'proper' manager which probably meant that they lost a lot of ground early on to other NWOBHM bands and never really recovered.
