He's announced dates for a four-month stretch called Peter Frampton Finale -- The Farewell Tour. You can see the full list of dates below.

The run will begin at the Hard Rock Hotel & Casino in Tulsa on June 18 and wrap up at San Francisco's Concord Pavilion on Oct. 12. PETER FRAMPTON is a rock musician that I wished I had taken more interest in down the years but didn't. Like many rock fans during the 1970s I bought FRAMPTON COMES ALIVE which was a MASSIVE seller back in 1976 although the follow up studio album I'M IN YOU that I bought was a bit of a flop to my ears on the first hearing so I didn't bother with him anymore which was possibly a mistake on my part.

I'm sensing a somewhat positive tone despite the bad news. That's good. I really hope people go see him and hopefully he'll continue to release music, even if he can't tour. He deserves to be remembered for more than just "Frampton Comes Alive!".

I have seen Frampton about five times and it’s always a great show.I might go see this show, it’s just too early for me to buy tickets
