Not counting the new songs I have to learn for every Sunday, I've been working on some songs that lend themselves to doing as a troubadour, in other words, one singer with a guitar. Songs that really require an entire band to sound right require a band to sound right. I rehearse such songs when I'm going to do a band gig, but otherwise, I work on solo artist songs.

Some songs I've worked on recently include:

Come Join the Murder, by The White Buffalo
Some People Never Learn, by Jay Hitt
Faith of a Desperate Man, by Jay Hitt
Casey's Last Ride, Kris Kristofferson
Silver Tongued Devil, Kris Kristofferson

Been working on "Oh, Darling", by the Beatles, and "Stand My Ground" by Within Temptation. My wife wanted to learn a karaoke duet we could do together, so we worked on "Summer Wine", but Lee Hazlewood and Nancy Sinatra. Then I started working on playing it so we could also do it at an open mic. And I'm working on "I Got You", by the White Buffalo.

Ever since I got my new Harmony Singer pedal, and heard "Just Dropped In to See What Condition My Condition Was In" as the credits song on the first episode of the third season of True Detective, I've been working on that one.
