It appears that the Rolling Stones are about to commemorate their tour in support of 1994's Voodoo Lounge. While they haven't released details, a social media post, coupled with some new listings at Amazon, suggests that an announcement is imminent.

This afternoon, they posted the below 23-second teaser video -- which seems to draw upon the artwork from that record -- to their Twitter, Facebook and Instagram feeds. In addition, Amazon has three listings for something called Voodoo Lounge Uncut - on Blu-ray/two-CD, DVD/two-CD and three-LP sets -- available for pre-order all with a release date of Nov. 16. There is no other information about the contents.

Another listing, this time at MusicDirect, says that it's the Nov. 25, 1994 concert at Joe Robbie Stadium (now Hard Rock Stadium) in Miami Gardens, Fla. That show, which was broadcast on pay-per-view, featured guest appearances by Sheryl Crow ("Live With Me"), Robert Cray ("Stop Breaking Down") and Bo Diddley ("Who Do You Love?"), as well as the first performance of "Sweet Virginia" since 1973. Seventeen of the 27 songs played that night were released VHS in 1995 as Voodoo Lounge Live.

Over the summer, the Rolling Stones toured Europe and it's possible that we may start to hear more news about them working on a new album. Back in February, Keith Richards said they were in the "early stages" of putting out their first collection of all-new material since 2005's A Bigger Bang. “We have some stuff down, which is very interesting," he said. "It’s more difficult for us to write together the further apart we are, but it also has its benefits in that we come back to it from a different angle.”

Three weeks ago, Mick Jagger uploaded a video of himself playing harmonica on what he said were "new tunes."

So, for the record, the above news is official:

Hey, hey – You Got Me Rocking now! The Rolling Stones have just announced details of an archive concert film release – Voodoo Lounge Uncut. Filmed on November 25th 1994 at Miami’s Joe Robbie stadium, this restored, remixed and remastered film contains ten previously unreleased performances and features guest appearances from Sheryl Crow, Robert Cray and Bo Diddley.

On November 16th 2018 Sparks Will Fly, as Voodoo Lounge Uncut will be released on various audio/visual formats, including an exclusive red vinyl, triple album, only available at rollingstones.com.

This new version also includes five bonus performances on all visual formats, that were not performed in Miami but filmed at an earlier show at the Giants Stadium in New Jersey, making this the definitive record of the Rolling Stones on the road, in the mid-nineties.
