Only 45 minutes? WTF? Especially if recoreded live in 1977 when they were one of the biggest bands in the world at the time.

Not saying you are wrong, just commenting that I find it pretty odd if that is the case.

Yes, it's the same concert. I didn't see the price of that bootleg DVD - the auction is no longer online, but it would be foolish to pay for it, when you can buy the official 3-disc version of "History of the Eagles" and get both the concert and a fantastic 2-part documentary.

I don't mind bootlegs, I own quite a few myself, but you need to be careful. Often the same concert has been released under several different names and in some cases, such as the Eagles one, there's even an official release.

I would only buy a bootleg CD or DVD if it was the only way to get something. Like the Uriah Heep Ten Miles sessions (unreleased John Lawton era material)

If there's an official release, I'll go that way every time. Better quality being the main selling point.

Many people misunderstand the term "bootleg". My understanding is a "bootleg" means an UNOFFICIAL release, NOT "bad quality" necessarily. I have "bootleg" dvd's from all over the world, many of them pro shot in television studios, sound stages and live venues, etc. Many of unbelievable quality. If you are a die hard collector like myself, other than the band not being compensated financially, they are a joy to have and watch.

If the quality was the same, or nearly so, I'd give something a look. It'd be hard to beat the multi-camera, 5.1 sound, professional engineering of a well done official release though.

Of course, I've heard some terrible sounding official live albums too.
