Van Halen and Aerosmith. Also Jack White. I own all of Jack's music, but he never tours anywhere near my city.

I started following a lot around the same time, so I'll go with The Who, Aerosmith and ZZ Top of those that are still where I could go.

Probably Rainbow. I got into them when Difficult to Cure came out in '81 and they got a lot of play on early MTV. Then discovered the Dio stuff and immersed myself in all things Blackmore (thankfully I saw the Perfect Strangers tour). Never saw them when he put out Stranger In Us All in '95. Limited tour in the States for that. Had to settle for Blackmore's Night around '03. Hoping his new Rainbow does some Stateside shows.

Pink Floyd - wouldn't have gone to see them after Roger Waters left anyway (did see Waters in Manchester a couple of years back).
Deep Purple - but did see all the members of the classic (Mk II) line-up separately, by seeing Gillan, Whitesnake and Rainbow.

The lands of Marshall Stack.
Having seen most on my wishlist.. bar Hendrix, Beatles and Elvis - these:
The Small Faces.

Completed years of going to Donington.. and saw hundreds of class rock acts.
Glad I got to see Beefheart, Gallagher, and Chuck Berry ( twice!)
