Far out.
It's listed in the discography on Wikipedia already.
It's good to have people releasing new rock and roll.
It's a lot of work for little reward.
Their last album "Like An Arrow" was number 1 on the Billboard country and Americana charts.
Guess what total sales were.
US 48,000.
Crap!
If they got every penny of it it still wouldn't pay the bills.
They'd make more working at Walmart.
My hat is off.
They do it for the love.
Admiration is due.

@BikerDude

That might be physical sales and not include digital / download sales..or royalties from streaming services.

It's hard for me to believe They don't have more than 48,000 fans in the US. Then add in worldwide fans.

My guess is they do alright ;)

It is physical sales.
Digital and download sales don't pay artist worth a damn.
Actually it just improved a lot just a couple of weeks ago they got a big victory, but it's still not great.

Before this change it was absolutely ridiculous how little artists got for digital sales.
Even song writers who had digital downloads in the millions got hardly anything.

https://www.digitalmusicnews.com/2017/10/03/hit-song-justin-bieber-royalties/

“So, on the first page. It says the total royalty amount was $149,000.”
“Top ten hit. 20%, $149,000. This is three years, three years in. This is his performance royalty from BMI.

“The song played on the radio, it had 347,820 spins. The royalty amount on that alone, was $53,000.

“Let’s fast-forward to this page, the interesting page.

“Sirius XM, not bad. 1,509 spins, earned him $765 dollars.
“You ready for this?

“Pandora: 38,225,700 spins earned him $278.
[audience laughs; starts talking; one person says ‘WOW!’]

“I’m not finished.

[audience quiets down]

“YouTube: 34,220,900 spins earned him $218.17.

@BikerDude

Almost makes me feel bad to even use YouTube. 34mil views on YT makes whomever uploaded the video around 35K from a YT partnership agreement.

Justin Bieber is still doing good, though. The kid has millions and it's coming from somewhere.

So, I finally got my Find a Light pre-order bundle! To be fair, the band did ship it a week before the release date, but it takes a while for things to get here from the US and I've been away from Athens the past week, which means I could not pick it up until today.
