Primus Official Website

If you haven't already listened to the greatest band in the world here are some albums you must check out. They are really bass orientated, and probably the best type of Funk. I can't really think of any other way to describe them other then THE BEST

Albums

1990 Frizzle Fry
1991 Sailing the Seas of Cheese
1993 Pork Soda
1995 Tales from the Punchbowl
1997 Brown Album
1999 Antipop
2011 Green Naugahyde
2014 Primus & the Chocolate Factory with the Fungi Ensemble
2017 The Desaturating Seven

Tales From The Punchbowl is by far the best album Primus has ever released, and I'm to argue with this >_>

The first real studio album, and it's one hell of a way to start your career!

This album was purely made for the real fans of Primus. A lot of top musicians helped put it together too.

Re: Primus

Being a Bassist I'm impressed with Les Claypool and Primus.. Pretty bad ass for a self taught Bass player..
Kinda like a modern day Zappa on Bass..
I have quite a few favorites but Primus is a aquired taste in music..

Tim Alexander is a pretty darned good drummer in his own right, too.

Re: Primus

You know this might sound bad seeing as I'm the guy who made the thread, but Les is, in my opinion, one of the top three bassist's to ever exist.

Les Claypool
Geddy Lee
John Paul Jones
Roger Glover
Tony Levin

Riff Raff

Re: Primus

Sorry for bumping a 10 month old thread but figured its better then making a new thread
I love Primus, my favourite album is Sailing the Seas of Cheese.
Pork Soda is also a decent record too, Tommy the Cat is probably my favourite song.
