OH wow....sad news.

He was the arranger for the Best song by Train....the song that put them on the map and earned Buckmaster a Grammy Award.

He also was the arranger for the huge Carly Simon Classic, Your So Vain. He has worked with numerous country artists and composed a couple movie soundtracks. If you've ever watched The Spy Who Loved Me, then you have heard his compositions.

Paul played a very important part on some of my all-time favourite songs. He might not have great name recognition, but read up on him and you'll know.

So many great string or orchestral arrangements on albums (particularly of the 1970s). Judie Tzuke's "Welcome To The Cruise" being one of my favourites.
