Cant' remember the last time I listened to either one of these albums. At first instinct, I'd say Diamond Head, but I'll refrain from voting until I can give a few of the tracks a listen.

I listened to both albums last night. I still can't decide. Both have their good points and their "meh" points.
I will say this, if I only listened to side 1 of Angel Witch, I could easily vote for Diamond Head. That first side of AW is extremely yawn-worthy. It isn't bad, but it's nothing special. Side 2 really grabs me though and based on that alone, they could almost garner my vote.

I bought that first ANGEL WITCH album when it was first released on vinyl in 1980 and played it maybe a dozen times back then and liked it.
I remember reading somewhere someone saying that was the sort of album that BLACK SABBATH should have released in 1980.

Very hard to choose....
But I'm giving my vote to Lightning to the Nations. The ONLY thing that swayed my vote to Diamond Head is the fact that most of the lyrics on Angel Witch is extremely cheesy and uninspiring.
