Amidst current day's severe racial tensions, there lies an obvious yet sadly overlooked partial remedy for these tragic times of human existence---the magical powers of sharing music cross-culturally.Cases in point from our own chosen fan field of classic rock include the Doobie Brothers,Rare Earth,Sly and the Family Stone,Arthur Lee and LOVE and the transcendent musings of Santana, all glorious examples of racially mixed combos that provide dutiful evidence of the possibilities of inter-cultural unity.Wonderful recordings full of how various races ethnicities are actually able to come together with shining hope of peoples from around the world sharing music as well as the planet and our individual short existences on it.Just watch the clip of Santana performing "Soul Sacrifice" at the original Woodstock fest in '69..More stuffy, pig headed politicians should study this one and absorb the great message of benevolence towards others we all should learn to practice.......................

Absolutely.Perhaps we should throw out all currently existing national anthems and replace all with the Youngbloods' "Get Together" as some sort of "world anthem".Maybe this would put an end to all the NFL protesting......................

The simplest way to end NFL player protests is keep both teams in their locker rooms until after the National Anthem is over. See how I help people?

In fact, add it to the NFL's list of rules and regulations beginning in 2018 so the player's union won't have grounds for a lawsuit against the league for denying them (the players) the right to express themselves or whatever freedom of expression bullshit they want to pull. You're welcome, NFL.

These racial tensions you speak of aren't going to end because there are people behind the scenes orchestrating this tension. Their goal is to divide and conquer so there won't ever be solidarity against them as they attempt to create a totalitarian regime to rule over us all.

I read that Kapernick was passed over by the Texans to replace their QB who went down with a torn ACL.

Karma really is a biotch, bay-bee!

I wonder if Kapernick kneels during the National Anthem when he's watching the games on tv at home?
