All I am going by the video you posted. I think you are misinterpreting the contents of the video and allowing your emotions to get the better of the actual situation. I loved Syd Barret but I also think that all the members of the band talking in the video were being honest. You nor I don't know the actual circumstances what happened. Did Syd actually walk in when they were performing, or were the members to shy to ask straight away who was he? Or is it that none of them said a kind word about him and you feel aggrieved? If its the last scenario I am with you with that sentiment.

One of the band members said 'Who's that guy behind you, that Syd, I cracked up' He was obviously touched and most of them were shocked to discover that Guy was Syd. After not seeing someone you knew years ago to discover how that person has changed (to the one you knew) can be shocking. I am sorry but I think you have gotten completely the wrong end of the stick on this one (unless you have other first hand evidence apart from the video to support your view)
