I've just recently become a fan of Status Quo. I had heard the album Hello when I was a teen and was unimpressed..recently I picked up a couple of their album in a vinyl collection I purchased. That changed everything and after a second look all these years later I really like these guys a lot.

All you really need of 'the Quo' is-

1.DOG OF TWO HEADS 1971
2.PILEDRIVER 1972
3.LIVE (from 1977)

And a couple of compilation albums/cds with the hits on.

Although having said that I've actually currently got everything they've released on cds.

I saw in the HMV store in Bond street in London's west end (that's in England in Great Britain for our American cousin's) that a double cd has just recently been released of 'the Quos' complete Birmingham NEC gig from 1982 you know the one where HRH prince Charles & HRH Diana princess of Wales attended has just appeared in the cd rakes in the last week that includes extra tracks from the concert such as Roadhouse Blues, Big Fat Mama, Down Down, Rain & Forty Five Hundred Times that were omitted from the original single cd.

I would disagree. I have a decent amount of their CDs ( 5) plus two Vinyl records and my favorite is actually , Quo.

Yeah there's obviously several more of there albums that are worth having than the three that I named although personally I still like PILEDRIVER over many of there other albums.

As far as studio albums goes, everything up to and including "Blue for You" (their ninth studio album) is essential Quo. After that their albums became patchy.

I have a different version of Blue For You. Same album , different cover and self titled.20171021_000545-1.jpg
Really catchy, enjoyable, rockin' album.
