As a 26 year old, I am no longer a young man exactly. Although I suppose I am compared to a lot of people who listen to 1950's and 1960's Rock & Roll. No matter what it is that YOU love...remember that your taste is your own...your own to love and craft as you get older...and don't let ANYBODY change who you are if you aren't okay with it. Because they'll try. I know because I grew up being a young person interested in my own things and marching to the beat of my own dru-...backbeat.
I think it's really cool though. You're the future as a means of preservation. Eventually older fans of the music who grew up with it will pass and people like me will too. And we need people to get involved with preserving the legacy of Rock & Roll. Especially due to the way Rock is waning on the Pop charts right now in favor of other stuff. Don't forget how important you are in that way. Rock old and new can't continue to exist without fans, support and awareness. Nice to meet you.
