Got a free CD in my latest edition of 'Classic Rock'. It includes two tracks off the new album - 'Time For Bedlam' and 'All I Got Is You'. Also included are 'All The Time in The World' and 'First Sign of Madness' from 'Now What'. Four other tracks - 'No One Came'(Live in Gaevle), 'Strange Kind Of Woman' (Live in Wacken), 'Perfect Strangers' (Live in Tokyo), and 'Black Night'(Live in Milan).
All-in-all pretty damn good.

I just finished listening to the EP and you'd swear those songs were recorded in the 70s! Great job!! :grinthumb

Just dived in to see what others have thought of the new Purple album and was astounded to find no new postings since I last looked in!

For me, "Infinite" continues the improvement that we saw with "NOW What!?". Nice to hear more Steve Morse in the mix and to see the guitar tone hinting more at a traditional Purple guitar sound than previously. I haven't had the time to listen more than a few times to the album so far but I love what I've heard. I had some reservations over covering "Roadhouse Blues", with The Doors and the Status Quo versions being so well known, but I reckon that they've pulled it off - and great to hear IG giving his harmonica a good blow again.

It's an album that I keep wanting to come back to, so that's a positive sign.

I've commented in other threads how much I dug this album. It is their best work in a long time and I've enjoyed pretty much every album they've put out. That Doors cover at the end was the perfect closer.

There's been some talk about it in "What Are You Listening To?" thread. A lot of people have been listening to it and nobody has had anything negative to say about it!

Couldn't agree more. Steve Morse's guitar was the first thing that stood out to me the first time I listened to it. Definitely a step up from "NOW What!?", which says a lot, as that album was excellent too.
