My vote goes to Beth Hart. Very talented lady with a beautiful voice, I believe she has a 4 - 5 octave range. Her voice is a vocal powerhouse......she did a killer Whole Lotta Love cover....

Well, Sooty already mentioned my obsession with Beth, so my vote for her should come as no surprise. There's some superb talent in this poll and girls like Layla Zoe and Shemekia Copeland might raise a few eyebrows, but those two can hang with the best of them, in fact, they can outsing quite a few of the ladies in this poll.

My favorite would be Janis Joplin, but as far as best vocals go (IMO) IT'S Sarah McLachlan. Again that's my opinion. Janis got my vote, because she is my favorite of the group.
