You Gotta Move is really a cover for both but the McDowell version inspired the stones. Fred MCdowell did not write the song as it is a spiritual culture song and I don't believe it's even known who it was written by.

So this one may not truely fit the list by definition but i thought it worthy.

Mississippi Fred McDowell - "You Gotta Move"

Awesome Mr. Jim!!!!!! ^^^^^^^^

oh...what the heck! Here's a clip from one of my favorite movies "Get Crazy" where Piggy(Lee Ving from fear) performs a hardcore punked up version of "Hootchie Kootchie Man" backed up by Nada. (It's a New Years Eve Bash & actually the tune is performed 3 times in the movie by King Blues, Piggy, & then by Reggie Wanker(Malcolm McDowell as an aging Rock Star with John Densmore from the Doors on drums)

this one has been covered a lot but I went with a couple radically different perspectives. And your not getting no HD Remastered version of them either :D.

Like they were meant to be heard
