The artwork is pretty bad but never judge a book by its cover is something I go by. Title is meh too but **** it its new Metallica and the song Hardwired has me keen to get this and the deluxe edition too.

The artwork oddly gives me horrid memories of the Lulu album and art. But thankfully the music won't be anything like it.

That song has a serious 80s Metallica attitude to it and that's just a part of why I love it.

Events like this encourage me with regard to the future of rock. ie and epic band releasing (hopefully) an epic album. Last year it was Iron Maiden - a terrific album with around 85 minutes of material which proved they still had plenty to offer. This one has been coming for a long time.

I'm in-between with the new track. Part of me likes it, and part of me doesn't. At this point, i'm a little exhausted with Metallica, but I'll definitely be open minded with this one. Hopefully it's good.
