@joker1961 I agree that the first 5 Studio albums are the cream of the Heep. I would also add that Uriah Heep Live 73 is an AMAZINGLY awesome album and one my all time favorite live recordings , period.

well I`m now in the club thanks to my good buddies @Sweaty and @Vader. I brought the first five albums on vinyl a couple of days ago awesome ROCK...

well I`m now in the club thanks to my good buddies @Sweaty and @Vader. I brought the first five albums on vinyl a couple of days ago awesome ROCK...

Nice, I have all those on vinyl plus Sweet Freedom, Wonderworld, and Return To Fantasy...plus the one and only URIAH HEEP ~ LIVE 73.

How many guitar slingers would I like to put in my top ten, you just can't fit 'em all in. Mick Box is up there for me. He does the job and more, he's got all the necessary chops a class rock act.

he surely is a great guitarist there are an amazing amount of awesome other guitarist in most of us here, I like them guitar gods whom make a lot of noise

I see the same greats topping the "official" lists in the mags ect. and that's fine but it makes me wonder about an alternative list of guitar wizards that perhaps don't always get a mention. People like Mick Ronson, Robbie Robertson, Gary Rossington, Steve Hackett, Paul Kossoff, Roy Buchanan, Martin Barre, Andy Powell, Jan Ackerman etc. You could just go on and on.:D

its the same old same there are some marvellous guitarist whom should be listed but aren't like Snowy White, Audley Freed, Marc Ford or Seasick Steve among many others. do you like " Jimmy Herrring " is bands are:
Jazz Is Dead
Project Z
Widespread Panic.
there are a few other projects his in...
