I call the later Fleetwood Mac Plastic Mac. I love Peter Green's Fleetwood Mac, I thought Jeremy Spencer was a great addition to the BB three and young Danny Kirwan was a great guitarist for his age. He showed that in the late sixties you could be any age to be an influence on other blues guitarists, especially with BB King being a main influence and the extravagant performers who played blues inspired music of the time. In my opinion one of the greatest straight up blues bands to ever exist. However, later Fleetwood Mac is very hard to compare, a very talented outfit that wrote songs in a modern manner and fantastically drifted from decade to decade. I enjoy both but blues Fleetwood Mac was such a natural blues band!
