Works such as this absolutely transcend the medium in which it was presented.Much like many of Pink Floyd's works, this one takes the mind to an entirely different level of cultural perception.............

Big King Crimson fan here. What I like about them is that they're still finding ways to keep the music fresh and adventurous. It's too bad Robert Fripp does'nt get recognized for his talents. My most fave albums are Crimson King, Wake Of Poseidon, Islands, Larks', Bible Black, Red, Discipline, and ConstruKction Of Light.

I also like them, I have 3 of their albums, I haven't listened to them in ages, very good review :)

Thanks LG! I'm get into my adventurous moods sometime and I saw Joe's list and said what the hell. A lot of the bands on his list had their own threads and it gave me a guide to go in the threads and actually have something to hopefully enjoy (always a risk with music but a fun one) and actually have something to contribute from a novice regarding particular artist! :grinthumb I won't lie but I don't think I'm going on a marathon with any particular artist but I'm enjoyoing the variety right now and soon enough my evil "New" music will pull me back! :lmao: It's fun exploring though! :grinthumb

well hello just found the thread I`ve been listen to King Crimson from the teen years lol, for me the musicians on each release added a new spin to the music. take Greg Lake and Bill Burford oooh yes...I`m a little surprized that Sox isn't here...
