I never listened to Albanian thrash metal bands. I just wanted to show that quality of music does not depend on the geographical location of a band. Statement that European metal is better is nonsensical. Music does not depend on geography. It's utterly absurd.

I agree that "quality" is not defined by a geographical location, but musical style or genre can be defined by geographical location. The genre of metal,I am most passionate for comes mostly from across the pond. Which is fine, because geographical location of a band doesn't matter to me, it's what I hear that matters. But if you ask me where the bands are located that I love.....I'm going to tell you Europe!

STEELER
LP/Steeler....1983

A bit of a supergroup that only made one album. Guitarist Yngwie Malmsteen went on to bigger and better bands.Vocalist Keel went on to make a few albums too.Malmsteen seems a bit embarrassed about Steeler...referring to them as a shitty glam band.
Not to be confused with another band called STEELER from Germany who made several albums around the same time, also featuring a virtuoso guitarist... Axel Rudi Pell !

Off topic, but here's a Bulgarian metal band I really like.

Its not absurd. It comes down to what people prefer. I like plenty of US bands but a hell of a lot more from the European side of it and location does matter in the context of what offers more of a specific sub-genre.

There are a lot European bands that sound like American bands and vice versa.
