My all-time favorite Jefferson Airplane/Starship songs are in chronological order...

Somebody to Love (1967)
White Rabbit (1967)
Miracles (1975)
With Your Love (1976)
Count on Me (1978)
Runaway (1978)
Jane (1979)

May Paul Kantner :rip:

Another original rocker gone. Very sad indeed that Paul Kantner has passed away due to severe health problems. May he rest in peace and condolences to his two sons, daughter, and other family members and loved ones.

What is going on there up in Heaven? Are the angels trying to organize a big rock n roll party? This is really scary and inevitable at the same time.

Apparently there aren't many JA/JS fans on this site. My favorite songs are:

White Rabbit (1967)
Somebody to Love (1967)
Miracles (1975)
With Your Love (1976)
Count on Me (1976)
Runaway (1978)

This is the exact order I burned a CD of my fave Jefferson tunes.

I'm a fan of all versions of the band. Even the 1989 reunion album was a good return to form.

^ & ^^, good track listings, though Jane was more of a "beginning of the Micky Thomas era".

Here's a good track with Paul on vocals from that overlooked 1989 album

Same here, I even like "We Built This City", "Nothing's Gonna Stop Us Now" and "Sara" all by Starship.

True about Mickey Thomas, but Paul Kantner was still involved on "Jane" along with its album, Freedom at Point Zero, both from 1979, so this is the reason for me including it.
