Hi Folks
I stumbled across this forum and really like what I see so I'm going to stay
I grew up in an Indian community in South Africa. I'm a bit of an misfit in the sense that instead of being like all the other kids, my best friend and I were always into rock music. I suppose he was influenced by his late dad who passed on the influence to me. All the other kids at that time were into RNB, pop or what ever the latest trending music was on the radio at that time. My love of rock music grew and I can confidently say I'm hooked on it. I especially enjoy classic rock and sometimes wish I lived in that era. My favourite artists from the past are The Doors and John Lennon. So I'm here now, hoping to gain insight on people's views on this extraordinary genre and their experiences around classic rock.
