Labor Day weekend 1969. Three days of music, sun, fun and other stuff too. I was 18 and this was MY Woodstock.

Floyd at Earls Court 1994. I had seen The Wall at the same venue in 1980, and although it was a big deal to be there (I think it was only performed 28 times around the world) there was no comparison to the '94 gigs. David Gilmore has a feel for what the fans want and he delivered big time.

I saw both those tours also. I'll take the tour before both. The animals tour is one of my favorite shows of all time.

hard to pick when you make it festival or daily event.
Coachella 04, Woodstock 94, NEARfest (10 of them), Pearl Jam 20 weekend, Dead/Marshall Tucker/New Riders -77?

Single day show might go with
One for Woody Benefit show: Allman Brothers/Phil Lesh & Friends/Black Crows/Govt Mule and friends (Warren played all but three songs all night)

Love The Breeders but never had the pleasure of seeing them live. They go many years between albums but it's always worth the wait. Mountain Battles and Title TK before that, i am crazy for both.

Yep, I totally get that. I had the opportunity to go to the 'Animals/Wish You were Here' gig at a venue about 15 miles from where I live, but work commitments prevented it. It is one of the biggest regrets of my life (along with my sister asking me if I was going to go to the Isle of Wight Festival 1970 - Hendrix's last gig....and me saying no :bonk: -but that's another thread)

By far the two best concerts I've been to are:
Bob Dylan and The Band, and
• the Eagles

We saw both concerts some time in the early 70's ~ ah, time and smoke have slightly obscured the precise dates (but not the concerts!) I've been truly blessed to have experienced these epic artists!
