Went through and cleaned up all these dead videos.

What's the deal with no Supertramp on youtube anymore?? :nw:

I've noticed that, even when I wanted to post a tune to my facebook. Anyway, I hope Suprtramp songs come back on YT soon.

Roger........ from Portsmouth....

met Rick Davies... from Swindon ... and Supertramp was born !

Roger has just turned 65 (march 2015 ) and seems to be in a good place...
he seems very content and at peace with the world.....

doing concerts with his backing band under the name ... Roger Hodgson...

living in North California .... among the mountains and pines... how good does it get ?

Hes got a great portfolio of songs and a job for life touring Europe,
Canada .. the USA .... wot a lucky guy !

Roger was a good looking guy in his younger days he reminded me of Errol Flynn

Still got a good head of hair for a 60 plus guy !

Hes pretty nifty on the keyboards too

( even after the terrible accident when he fell on concrete , hit his head and smashed his wrists )

Great band Supertramp. :grinthumb
Found a Roger Hodgson concert that I really (surprisingly) enjoyed. Worth it if you can get it :)

It's a great shame Roger and Rick could not come together and bring Supertramp back to the world. That would be a gig to die for. I'm a huge fan of the mid-to-late '70s output.

I don't really know what caused the rift between them, but like you, I wish they would get over it and perform again as Supertramp. They put out a great series of albums of prog-pop during the 70's, from Crime of the Century to Breakfast in America they could do no wrong. Maybe the fame and attention had the same effect on them as Waters/Gilmour after DSOTM.

The lands of Marshall Stack.
Bump.....
Supertramp dropped this on us in 1977 and under the expert eye of technical man Geoff Emerick... Very slick, yet not giving a manufactured sound.

Even In The Quietest Moments.
From Now On.

If you listen to Child Of Vision.... you can hear the division between the two of them... Plus there was a tussle over who sings who's big songs on stage.... all exasperated by Rick's wife becoming Manager.... (not a good move!)
