Here in Boston,we have a weekly radio program called "Breakfast With the Beatles" on the local classic rock radio station.I know there was once and may still be a nationally syndicated program called "The Beatle Years".Does anyone out there either have a weekly local Beatles radio show or still listen to "The Beatle Years".PS-"Beatle Years" had a really excellently in-depth installment on the whole "Paul Is Dead" thing.I don't know how often they ran it,but they always used to broadcast this rather morbid piece of Beatle lore every year at Halloween.Perfect......................

In December 2013 a Beatles bootleg album of 1963 material was released on itunes. The reason was that there's a law in Europe (I think) that after 50 years, if material isn't officially released, it goes into the public domain. The assumption was that albums like that would be released every year. So far I haven't seen any such album for their unreleased 1964 material. Seeing as it's 2015, does this mean the '64 material is now in public domain? Anyone?

I'm not sure of any on a national level here in the UK, but the 60's subcategory of 'Absolute Radio' has the Beatles on heavy rotation, and I think Sunday night is 'Beatles night' when they play non-stop Beatles.

BBC Recordings

I listened to a NPR (National Public Radio) interview where the guest was talking about a collection of Beatles recordings recovered from their appearances on early BBC programs. As the BBC did not save copies of those programs, these were rescued from varied sources. They have been/or will be released . I was unable to write down any info. as I listened, does anyone else know of or have any information about these special recordings that include interviews as well. I'll be checking as well . :)

Don't have any poop on any further lost Beatles BBC tapes, but I did very much enjoy the CD that was released in time for the 1994 Christmas season that boasted many fabulous live Beatle radio performances.Every thing they did on THAT one sounded just like fully produced recording studio recordings. The Fabs' rendition of Chuck Berry's "Memphis" as well as their version of "To Know Her Is To Love Her" particualry stood out for me,though I cannot exactly articulate why as the entire double CD set was chock full one "fab" musical exhibition after another all throughout.I certainly do hope they unearth some more of these early Beatles gems................
