This artist ( Helen Green Illustration ) made this tribute to Bowie this year, for his 68th birthday. It's a bunch of his different looks from Space Oddity hippy to present. It is really cool (if it doesn't give you stroke. If it does, I apologize in advance), and she did a really great job on the changing angles. Of course, she colored his bum eye brown, but I will tell myself that she did it on purpose for creative reasons :gig

Listen to David Bowie’s Isolated Vocal Track from ‘Ziggy Stardust’
The chilling track gives insight into how Bowie layered his vocal harmonies and the integral use of reverb

Many are still reeling from the death of David Bowie back on January 10th. While the iconic artist battled cancer for 18 months, he kept the news secret from his rabid fanbase, who over sixth months later are still coming to terms to life without the “Thin White Duke.”

Bowie’s 1972 concept album The Rise and Fall of Ziggy Stardust and the Spiders From Mars was a landmark and trailblazing effort in many ways. The effort spawned hits like “Sufferagette City,” “Starman” and, of course, “Ziggy Stardust.”

While it was posted two years ago, the isolated vocal track from “Ziggy Stardust” is just beginning to make the rounds. Fans can hear Bowie’s distinct voice without accompaniment thanks to user “brainpicker” on Soundcloud.

Take a listen to the chilling and amazing vocal track below. It gives insight into how Bowie layered his harmonies and the integral use of reverb.

Cool find shows the complexity of bowies layered recording techniques

But Why does the article describe it as chilling ? Kindof silly really there's nothing new about this technique
