I hate Eddie's vocals, musically the band just does nothing for me.

Everyone is entitled to there own opinion. Like I said, I used to hate Eddie Vedder's voice as well. But after a few years it finally grew on me.

I really only like Pearl Jam's first 3 albums the best. And the 2nd one (Vs.) is an okay album. Vitalogy, PJ's third album is there best album of all time in my opinion.

If you haven't given Vitalogy a listen I suggest at least giving it a try. It's really a piece of work. One of my top 3 albums of the 90's for sure.

Vitalogy>Ten>Vs. in that order for first 3 PJ albums.

I like Ten, but Nevermind just blew me away when I first heard it, came like a blast of fresh air at a time when I thought musically things were pretty stale. Nirvana gets my vote here.

I will give PJ a LOT of credit for at least attempting to stick it to the man a number of years ago when they did a bunch of live shows for free, in protest of the ridiculously bullshit fees, surcharges and the like that Ticketmaster charges for tickets in America. I don't know if you know who this company is, but they are what SHOULD be an illegal monopoly in the entertainment event ticket business (sports, music, and other various shows). As far as I know, PJ's attempts to get things changed fell on deaf ears and this monopoly just continued to roll on through to present day.

Oh yeah I'm very familiar with TicketBastard and PJ's protest. I lived in the US for about 8 to 9 years.

I've tried after years to tolerate his vocals but it still hasn't clicked for me and usually music does that I hated initially. PJ is just a band like a few others that will probably never click for me. I prefer the other bands of the grunge era.

Alice in Chains is my favorite of the whole grunge era. What about you?

Likewise Alice In Chains. Absolutely love their music to death. Dirt rates as one of my absolute favourite albums of all time.
