Interesting choice of both covers and music for someone your age. Why specifically those ones? :grinthumb

Hey BosPatrollie, I suppose I've just always had a thing for the zeitgeist of the late Sixties (sure, 'Weird Scenes' and 'Loaded' came out in the early seventies, but they're still very true to the whole psychedelic image of '67-70)

Vibrant colours, psychedelic imagery- I suppose I like them because they reflect what sort of music is contained on the albums, and it also says something about what the band thinks of their outcome- 'Revolver', for example, is in black and white, perhaps the Beatles themselves recognised they were moving away from their early 'British Invasion' phase.

Maybe I'm a little biased- after all, these are among my favourite albums- but I'm sure the album art has at least something to do with that.

The Chameleons: Strange Times - The imagery makes more sense after listening to the album.

Herb Albert and the Tijuana Brass: Whipped Cream and Other Delights - Sensual and sexy. An iconic cover.

Iron Maiden: Number of The Beast - As a teen, me and a friend would go down to a music store in the mall to look at the poster of this album. There are some interesting things going on in the shadows...

The Alan Parsons Project: I Robot - The arrival of the robot in our lives.

I like that last Rush.A bit of surrealism here.I love surrealism whether in form of song or physical art such as this.I love the discreet sexual innuendo of the Herb Alpert release, which I believe was Billboard's number one album of 1966.Does anyone here own the original 3-d cover for the Stones' "Their Satanic Majesties Request"?I think I saw a copy in my favorite used records shop for like $35 or something....................

Tori Amos-Hey Jupiter EP

I almost picked "From The Choirgirl Hotel" for it's submersive spiritual cover but I think this covers what I love about Tori the most. In one picture you have a woman that is so comfortable in her introspect and thoughts that she dreamily just lays there for all the world to see. Even more importantly it reflects both earthy and ethereal qualities in one picture which is a perfect mix of what Tori's music is.
I love this art cover too!

Sonata Arctica - Pariah's Child
I never got into this bands music, but I love their albums covers.

^^^

The two Floyd, two Mountain and the Caravan. Those were just a few I came up with off the top of my head.
