Both look interesting but I am not sure I'll get them either although Steven Wilson's name on Passion Play gives it a lot of weight...:hm:

But I have all my favorite Tull albums on vinyl again now I spent about a year searching/buying them at various used shops here.

i think a passion play will be the final remaster/deluxe release i'll be getting unless any further releases have a lot of unreleased music on them. war child is being mentioned as the next album to have the stephen wilson treatment but as i already have the remastered version from a few years back, i cannot see the point realy. it's a shame in many respects that no one involved with the island and chrysalis labels have considered the first two blodwyn pig albums for the mastering treatment as i'm sure they would benefit - no pun intended - from re mastering and also i'm sure mick abrahams could do with the money they would generate. i mean really how far can you take this and while i'm sure blue ray really brings out the hidden depths of the music you have to wonder what advances will happen in the next few years which may mean that what is being issued now will be out of date in the year 2020:pullhair:

I have all the Tull remasters and it would have to be really special (and not a rip off) for me to double dip. They are nice sets and good for someone who does not have the other remasters or is getting in to Tull in a big way. I like to see remasters with b-sides and unreleased tracks not remixes and live tracks.
