From what I hear it isn't bad, a few slow ones but there is certainly some good keyboards and guitar in there. Just waiting for price to drop slightly and then I will buy.

I am still awaiting a vinyl copy as well. Couldn't get the CD from HMV as they sold everything on the day they put in stock. I call it BS and they're [HMV] just crap.

"The Outsider" is excellent. Not sure I agree with Classic Rock Magazine about this being their best in 20 years, but it's definitely one of their best in 20 years. Despite being almost 50 min long, it just doesn't get boring. And what amazes me most about this band, is how they continuesly manage to stay true to their classic sound, while still sounding so fresh. I'd rate it around 8,5/10.

Sounds fantastic. Thanks for the feedback. My copy should be here within the next week or two. Can't wait.

Agree with your assessment that it is not their best in last 20 years. "Wake the Sleeper" would be the winner in that category.

That said, it's a pretty solid rock album. Excellent musicianship all round especially love the bass and drums. Only criticism that I have is that there should have been more guitar solos, and maybe the guitar should have been bought more to front.

I'd score it a little less generous 8/10
