LOVE the new album...do you like it as well as April Rain??

April Rain was pretty damn good but I prefer the new one now. I think it has a nice mix of the symphonic softer stuff and songs with the heavier side of it.

Totally agree with ya. I can also recommend "Interlude". The DVD alone is worth the purchase, but the CD itself is also excellent with a couple of new songs, a new version/mix of 2 songs and some live tracks.

Dutch female-fronted symphonic metallers DELAIN will release their new album, "The Human Contradiction", via Napalm Records on the following dates:

Germany, Austria, Switzerland, April 4
Rest of Europe: April 7
USA, Canada: April 8

"The Human Contradiction" track listing:

01. Here Come The Vultures
02. Your Body Is A Battleground
03. Stardust
04. My Masquerade
05. Tell Me, Mechanist
06. Sing To Me
07. Army Of Dolls
08. Lullaby
09. The Tragedy Of The Commons

And a brand new song:

Your Body is a Battleground

Imo Delain have gotten better and better with each album and they've become one of my absolutely favourite symphonic metal bands. I'm not blown away by the new single, but still trust that the new album will be great.

I didn't know there was a thread for these guys. Another great band. I'm awaiting the new album and still have to get Interlude.

Originally "the band was envisioned as a musical project featuring a host of guest musicians", so there's a track on Lucidity featuring only Sharon den Adel & Marco Hietala:

Delain-No Compliance (album version)

It's also on the album as a bonus track with Charlotte on vocals.

Here's the first official video from the new album. Great song, decent video - Charlotte looks stunning as always.

And a preview with samples from each song:

I can't wait to pick up a copy of the new album on Friday :woot:

^ That song starts out a little too "pop", but gets going.
