God, so many!

Well, let's start with the obvious ones:
King Crimson (favorite!)
Emerson, Lake & Palmer
Genesis

And now for the lesser known ones:
Gentle Giant
Focus

There are probably others, and may other Semi Prog bands that don't fully count (Queen, Asia, The Beatles), so these are my favorite full on Progressive Rock bands!

First off, let me say that I do not consider pink floyd a progressive rock band.
If I did, they would be No.2 on my list.

10.Mogwai
09.Hawkwind
08.The Pineapple Thief
07.Nektar
06.Spock's Beard
05.Sigur Ros
04.Riverside
03.Kansas
02.Opeth
01.Porucpine Tree

Based on my knowledge of Prog Rock, I'd go with either Kansas or Jethro Tull as my favorite Prog Rock band. As I have mentioned before I'm just not much into Prog Rock.

Hi!

Ok, let's say I have only 10 choices :

- Genesis
- Pink Floyd
- Marillion
- Yes
- Steven Wilson
- Mike Oldfield
- King Crimson
- Peter Hammill/Van Der Graaf Generator
- Rush
- Difficult choice here! It could be Camel, Jethro Tull, Neal Morse/Transatlantic, Magma... I can't decide :pullhair:
