Avoiding The Swan Song
I had that one in mind Sweat, they are an old band that lost the original frontman but have had a new lease of life with Andy helping out. I reckon it should be one still looked for in years to come.
I see what you are saying TS those albums and musicians were ground breaking and were active during the early stages of developing rock music, their influence just can't be denied. I kind of like to think though that the torch has been taken up and carried on.
Soot "Love" and indeed Arthur Lee are a fine example of what can happen. I must say I have to give you the floor with the bulk of what's going on today as you have a much wider knowledge and taste than myself. I think I see through slightly blinkered vision and only seem attracted to the heavier vibe/band for want of a better description.
