If you haven't already listened to the greatest band in the world here are some albums you must check out. They are really bass orientated, and probably the best type of Funk. I can't really think of any other way to describe them other then THE BEST
I dont think i have heard any of thier albums!!

I first heard them @ Woodstock 94 and what I heard there was excellent I must say!!

I've always ignored Primus. To me it was always the band with the sloppy bass lines and annoyingly horrible lead singer. As I have been focusing on bass recently, I have rediscovered Primus and I'm glad I did. Claypool's playing style is very unique and completely original. I especially like American Life's bass line. It's not something I'll come close to playing for several years, but I can definitely appreciate his talent and creativity.

I proudly own "Pork Soda". It's just that even 20 years after I purchased it, I still don't understand it. I tend to love bands that are bass heavy, since there's so much untapped potential in that instrument. Usually you don't even notice the bass. Les Claypool is one of those rare exemptions. When you think about Primus, you will remember his bass riffs.

That's all I can say about Primus, they surely are unique.
