Do those that don't want to get it really think it's not going to be any good??

Better question...those that don't want to get it, are you still checking it out (listening online or what not).

I already get LG's point....you haven't been very happy with Tom in the press for a while now, since I can remember.

Sometimes I lose patience with a performer, in this case Tom Scholz is a...wanker. There are so many other newer bands I enjoy more than a 3rd rate version of Boston that I won't feel I'm missing anything by passing on his latest album.

No I don't intend on listening to it at any time MP, I would rather pull out the debut or Don't Look Back if I feel the need for a dose of classic Boston.

i'd have to agree. i'm afraid its more of the same as the 'corporate america' record, it might as well be titled 'corporate america 2.0' because three of the tracks are holdovers from the 'ca' record. and as far as brad delp being on the new album, a case of false advertising? the tracks he appears on are 'corporate america' tracks.

you know the old saying, 'fool me once, shame on you. fool me twice, shame on me.' well, its the second time around boys and girls.

I stopped listening to Boston after Don't Look Back. Pretty much for me it sounded like they just made the same album over and over again in some variation. I mean there such a thing as a band having a certain sound and there is also repetition. Sadly, I feel Boston falls into the latter category. Absolutely LOVE their debut album, however. It's probably one of the best rock albums. I also think Scholz being a huge douche so it doesn't help my opinion of the band.

Probably better to give it the benefit of the doubt until I have heard a track or two, but surely after 35 years Scholz will have finally come up with something different from endless multi-tracked guitar harmonies, but if he hasn't then it deserves to bomb. The naff album cover doesn't bother me because I download virtually everything I buy from iTunes or Amazon, and then transfer it straight to my iPod.
