Doesn't matter to me if it's with Lambert, Rodgers or leftovers from Freddie, I'll pass on the whole shooting match. I don't have an issue with them finding stuff and cobbling together an album but there is probably a reason these songs never saw the light of day,,,they weren't good enough. That's why I think they'll have appeal for hard core Queen fanatics like HA more than the general public. After all you can package up crap and stamp whatever name you want on it...in the end it's still crap.:D
You know, Lord, May and Taylor yet really talented composers, maybe, they could make decent songs from these rough copies...

^^Anything is possible HA, and for your sake and other fans of Queen I hope that's the case. But as soon as they mentioned these are "Freddie's old songs, demos, outtakes, collaborations with other artists" they found that changes it in my view. They will be counting on Freddie's name to sell the CD, nothing wrong with that but I don't think it will be as good as a top shelf classic Queen album that's why I think it will have limited appeal.

Just my thoughts, of course and I've been proved wrong more than once.;)

Don't think I will be bothered, I have all the Queen albums and did buy Made In Heaven but as LG said if they didn't release them before there is a reason:)

Adam Lambert real problem is that he needs to tell us he's farking gay all the time.

Take a page outta Rob Halfords book and get on with the music!

I'd take him more seriously if he'd quit trying to shock us , grow his hair long (metal up) and release some ballsier songs instead of disco fluff. Join a hungry young melodic metal band who can actually write (?).

As far as recording with Queen.....forget about it. Mays inventive days are long gone as witnessed with Queens last albums.

yep.....I'll second that......Van Halen III exposes how poor a singer the guy was.

Would've been nice if Van Halen got David Coverdale or Bruce Dickinson?

Montrose showed what a good singer Sammy Hagar was, but much of his material with Van Halen was poor. Three Sides to Every Story did not expose Cherone as a poor singer, while Brian May claimed that Extreme were the closest band to Queen in attitude. Paul Rodgers had close connections with Led Zeppelin and Queen were clearly inspired by them. I see no reason why Queen and Paul Rodgers should not have ironed out the deficiencies in the first album, by recording a follow up. Certainly it would have been preferable to the collaborations with various musical theatre singers.
