I have to say I think the new album is really good. I like the shared vocal duties on different songs and the music just flows perfectly like the old AIC.

I dont think Black Gives Way to Blue aged all that well, and the newer singles are pretty meh to me. I wish I liked them, because I hate being one of "those guys"... but it's just not doing it for me.

The band isn't for everyone. ^^ Or the newer albums in some cases.

Its funny because the 2 singles they released were my least favorite songs on the album. They sounded too much like something off of BGWTB. But after listening to the whole album, I have to say its my favourite of the year, I rank it higher than Black Sabbath's 13, and way higher than Megadeth's Super Collider, and thats all I've heard this year lol.

Super Collider isn't as bad as people make it out to be. I do agree though the AIC album is better than 13 for sure.

Still need to pick up the album, been buying so much by new artists lately so been forgetting some of the old classics, this band are another example that when the lead singer passes away there is still life in the band:)
