Megadeth's Dave Mustaine calls a fan "Faggot"

Megadeth played Machester, England last night, June 5th, 2013. They were having some technical problems a few songs into their set and had to leave the stage for about 10 minutes. When they returned, a fan allegedly started mercilessly booing the band.

Mustaine caught wind of the fan and could not handle it and worse calling the fan a c.unt and telling him to shove his middle finger up his ass and then calling him a faggot.

In the concert here a couple years back a fan got onstage and he stormed off...took the manager 15 minutes to talk him into finishing the show. That is understandable you never know what lunatic is going to get on stage or what their intentions are, but the concert in Sox's backyard he should show a little more class, just belt out the most aggressive song in your set and that would shut everyone up.

You don't need fans like that in your show being morons. He often has dickheads chucking shit at his guitar as well at shows. Thing is he probably didn't need to resort to the word faggot but every other adjective is how I feel about those idiots at concerts.

I think if you boo a band at a concert you deserve to be kicked the **** out especially if the reason for it was purely something out of the band's control like the lighting issue. lol

I swear, before I saw your post I was churning something to say along the lines of "he needs a Blues Brothers type fence". Great minds...

I'm buddies with ex guitar player Jeff Young on facebook and we chat online.

He doesn't have many nice things to say about him and the funny thing is, it doesn't come off as a bitter type deal at all. As far as when he was in the band? He claimed that Dave stated he himself would hum guitar solos to his players and they would copy that.

His story (one of many) was that Dave wasn't even around when he laid guitar leads or rythyms. I guess was high all the time.

Also showed Dave the spider chord which is used in jazz and blues and Dave went public saying he invented the spider shord and that it influenced future players.

Two sides to every story, I know, but it sounds legit as far as past Megadeth members. I guess Dave isn't one to give proper credit where it's deserved. This incident here was something that seemed to upset him...mainly because Dave these days is all on about being a christian and all that.

^^I like Mustaine when he's got a guitar in his hands onstage playing, other than that I have no use for him.

And Riff, when it comes to Rowdy fans interfering with an event then I agree with you they should be kicked out. But a fan expressing disappointment during a break or something...well in the entertainment business that's par for the course and you are allowed to have your opinion no different than when you boo your home team off the field when they perform badly.

Mustaine didn't handle it well period...and that's normal for him anyway.

Booing them for something out of their control I don't agree with. If the band performed like shit I can kind of understand it and as for when people boo their home team, I personally despise that. I think that fan deserved what he got apart from the term 'faggot' I think Mustaine needs to ease off with some of the asinine crap he says.
