I agree, his riffs are amazing (Kickstart My Heart, Looks that Kill, Live Wire) and his solos are also impressive

Ricky Medlocke of Blackfoot & Skynyrd is a very underrated Guitarist in my opinion..

I've always thought Nick Drake was a hugely underrated guitar player, he's like the Keith Richards of folk rock!

Im not very into post punk, but i used to listen to a lot of joy division in my teens, so Bernard Sumner is an exception. All my other favorite guitar players are from the 60's, classic rock bands, etc
