We all know there's nothing quite like some well executed guitar harmonies :D

For moi:

1. Brian Robertson & Scott Gorham
2. Pat Travers & Pat Thrall
3. KK Downing & Glen Tipton
4. Hank Shermann & Michael Denner
5. Micky Moody & Bernie Marsden

Alan Collins & Gary Rossington weren't exactly a "guitar tag team" they were actually a "guitar trio" with either Ed King or Steve Gaines. When they were a so-called "guitar tag team" on 1976's Gimme Back My Bullets it resulted in the pre plane crash era Skynyrd's only album not to go platinum.

I'm aware of both Ed King and Steve Gaines and their contribution. I chose Rossington and Collins as there was plenty of interplay between the two before, during and after Skynyrd. I liked what they did in the Rossington /Collins band ... I'll stick with 'em.:D

Fair enough but that's not really the point, what I'm saying is as a guitar team they were around for a long time, working together both before and after their involvement with Skynyrd and I like what they did ... that's why I listed them. It's a subjective issue, a matter of personal choice.
