in the early 70's I heard FM radio and AM pop from the 60's and early 70's. I still love that stuff.

Love your list. What a cracking start!
ELO, Dire Straits and Pink Floyd were the first bands I came across, but The Rolling Stones and Led Zeppelin were the first bands I started to listen to with a passion slowly progressing to hard rock and heavy metal.

The Beatles and The Ventures...from my Pop's record collection. Then I graduated to Led-Zeppelin. From them, it led me to Aerosmith, Deep Purple, Queen, Sabbath and hard/blues rock bands.

beach boys ,beatles ,and A.M hits at the time , then my older cousin came along in 1975 with ten years after and jethro tull , queen , pink floyd and so on .
