Best Ever Albums

I don't give a shit what place any album ranks on a critics list. Hell, if it was ranked in this format by any forum member period whether I like their taste or not I wouldn't be that interested either. I care about why it's ranked that way. I think it's cheap to just plop something in by numbers without a description. My top 20 albums would be ranked by my taste and experiences through life in why it's important. Regardless of the side of me that likes Classic Rock I wouldn't have any specific albums be able to fit into my top 50 that were pre-90's. I also wouldn't have a single Radiohead album even in my top 500. I own two Radiohead albums and they aren't the worst thing I've ever heard. They aren't even a bad listen persay. I just draw nothing from them outside a song or two. Anyway, list are interesting only for the personal reasoning behind them. Other than that I'd be who the **** are you and why am I looking at your ranking. I sure wouldn't be butthurt about any of them either. None of them affect my music or choices in any manner at all.

Strange list. Thought Who's Next would be in top ten....but no.

Ha ha ha! Did I miss something? Was someone actually 'buthurt' by this list?

Well, in hindsight, I don't mean to sound critical of Scotty's original post. I do read lists, but as many have said here before, it's just a subjective thing..

I see lists of top 100 songs etc etc etc in music mags and I think 'Sez who?' As you say Phil, it's totally subjective.
