Beatles - Abbey Road
Led Zeppelin - II
CCR - Green River
Temptations - Gettin' Ready

Pretty sure I'd have a tough time making a list without repeating these artists probably 2-4 times each.

^^That is a fabulous album but I wouldn't rate it as their best. I think you could see them transforming on "Rubber Soul", regardless Revolver is a good choice.

I'll do something I rarely do and post a compilation album. I was never a massive Rolling Stones fanatic, I liked them but they were never my favorite band. But they did release one of the best "Hits" albums of all time, the essential "Hot Rocks" volume one.

2) The Beatles- Revolver (1966)
3) The Beatles- Abbey Rd (1969)
4) The Doors- S/T- (1967)

9) Beach Boys- Pet Sounds (1966)
10) Led Zeppelin- Led Zeppeiln II (1969)

I should add that this list is interchangeable and there are many albums that depending on my mood that could easiliy make my top 10, including Led Zeppelin (self/titled), Velvet Underground & Nico, Bold as Love, Electric Ladyland, Freewheelin Bob Dylan, Bringinig it all back home, Court of the Crimson King, The Band, Music from Big Pink, The White Album, Surrealistic Pillow and many others...

I have always had a difficult time listening to compilation albums Grendel, I really only want to listen to the albums as they were meant to be. Maybe I should stop being a nob? :)
