"Paradise City" isn't just my favorite Guns song but one of my favorite songs of all time. I have to stop myself from listening to it when it comes on the radio in my car but it makes me want to drive dangerously....:heheh:

Its albums like this that do increase my temptation to drive dangerously. I don't though because of common sense. :heheh:

Well apparently you have stronger willpower than I do, Riffy. If I listened to it then I simply would not be able to help myself. :D

Guns was one of the true rock 'n' roll bands to hit the scene in a long time. I was given tickets by my sister to go see them for my birthday after Use Your Illusion albums came out. I was in the 2nd row center at Madison Square Garden and couldn't wait for the band to start. They were introduced but no Axl...He kept us waiting for over an hour,I had enough and started to leave (birthday or no birthday) and was almost through the exit where you can't come back in when I heard the crowd start to roar - a sign that the band was ready to start, and yes it was an awesome show,3 hours plus and Axl was fantastic. But Axl def ruined the band and caused them to break up. I saw Velvet Revolver and they were awesome and I didn't have to wait an hour for the singer to get in the mood. It's a shame Guns could've been one of the great bands of time.

keep those model subway trains running - watch the closing doors

You won't hear me rip on Appetite. I will go to my grave with the opinion that Appetite is one of the single best and most incredible debut albums ever recorded.

Total agreement With Lynch & everyone else who agreed with him. I still never get tired of the album and it was one of those albums that I knew was going to be something special upon my first listen. Every track stood out and that says a lot for a debut. I also thought the band the Dogs D'Amour were going to be special with their debut but it didn't splash it kind of sank(I still love that album as well)
