^^I understand what you are saying Khor, and I have a lot of respect for the Who and what they have accomplished. But something just misses with their early albums for me, I don't know what it is but I just enjoy their later albums a lot more.

And personally even though Roger and Pete are touring Quadrophenia this year, I have no interest in their tour whatsoever. Without Keith and John it is not a proper Who concert, no offense to whomever they have hired to replace them. They are on the verge of becoming a tribute band to themselves. I am also amazed Pete even plays at all now, he is just about totally deaf and will be within a few years.

I really love the version of A Quick One While He's Away, from the Rolling Stones Rock N Roll Circus featuring The Who & Jethro Tull. It used to be on YouTube, but I believe it was taken down. I think you can purchase the DVD, all these years later Mick Jagger finally releases the footage.

I was lucky enough to have seen the Who in 1974 when they were still the real Who. I've seen them since and I guess as long as you got Roger singing and Pete on guitar you can still call them the Who. "Who's Next" without any doubt their best. "Live At Leeds" "Who Are You" "Quadrophenia" are also some of their listenable work. You have to listen to Quadrophenia as an album and don't think of it as a crapola concept album.

The Who are propably my all-time favourite band. I think Tommy, Who's Next and Quadrophenia are their best albums. Their early stuff is pretty good too and I also like Who Are You a lot. Entwhistle's songs are awesome on that album.

I think John's songs should get more airplay,it seems like the only song you hear mostly is "My Wife" which is a great song but he has alot more."Postcard" "Success Story" "Had Enough" "Trick Of The Light" and many more. I never really cared for "Heaven & Hell" Just a little venting here.
