Fav album is "Love It To Death" although one of my all time fav songs is "Be My Lover" from "Killer". Both of those albums are supreme with Billion Dollar Babies right behind it.

Just watched the Coop on That Metal Show.

A couple things he commented on:

The R&R HOF is an exclusive club. "Abba is in, KISS isn't."

Rob Zombie is his illegitimate son, not Marylin Manson. "Rob gets the tongue in cheek camp & vamp, Marylin doesn't"

There was some other stuff, but I hafta head out for work.

Awesome read OP.

Love me some Alice, although I have to admit I find most of what he's done the last 15 or so years, hit and miss, liked Eyes of and Dirty diamonds, but any time I see Alice trying to be "current" it really saddens me. No more Keisha, no more Xhibit, no more vo-coders, just do what you do best; proudly campy and creepy straight up rock music.

Thankfully he's had the sense to know that concert go'ers aren't really paying for any of that new tosh and keeps it to a minimum, still putting on an awesome stage show

I agree he has been hit or miss. For me the last album was a huge miss. I like everything else I heard but the last album just made me cringe.

Yeah, it sort of sounded like an ok tribute album in parts, with nice little musical call-backs to the original, but the lack of what you might call a sort of unity of theme coupled with these "I want to surprise the fans" guest spots and current trendy crap like vocoding, over all it feels like it's trading on past glories without giving me what I really loved about those past glories.

On an unrelated note: Batista fan, eh? I don't suppose you post on the wrestlecrap or "freaking awesome network" forums? Old Bats has been a meme machine over there for years

The album surprised me as a fan alright. lol

I'm not sure. I didn't catch the beginning, so I don't know what he was plugging. I know he said he and Rob Zombie were talking about touring together, if that's any help.
